Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Engaged! Which of Her Rings Is Better?

ne of Hollywood’s most famous couples is finally making it official. Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian Monday—and she said yes.
True to form, West planned an elaborate, spectacular proposal for Kardashian’s 33rd birthday, The rap star, 36, rented out San Francisco’s AT&T Park (home of the San Francisco Giants) and blasted the message “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” on the stadium’s jumbotron.
Kardashian replied “yes,” and a group of her friends and family surprised her by rushing out of the ballpark dugout.

“I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye,” Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother who gave West her blessing before he dropped to one knee, told E!
Kardashian and West first went public with their relationship in 2012, and welcomed a baby girl—North West—in June.



As for the ring? It’s a 15-carat diamond sparkler designed by Lorraine Schwartz—the same jeweler who created Kardashian’s engagement ring from ex-husband, NBA star Kris Humphries.
Kardashian’s old engagement ring was quite a bit bigger than her new one from West. Humphries proposed with a 20.5-carat ring—featuring a massive emerald-cut diamond surrounded with a pair of accent stones—that Kardashian called “perfect” at the time.
Humphries and Kardashian finalized their divorce in June after 72-day marriage, and the engagement ring, which Humphries originally paid $2 million for, recently sold at auction for $749,000.
